Avatar: The Last Air Bender..

Some of you may not know this, but I watch cartoons till this day haha.. True enough... But the one favourite cartoon I've been watching for the past 3 years is Avatar: the legend of Aang. Its actually a real cool cartoon which revolves around three kids, one being Avatar Aang, who journey round the world seeking benders to teach the Avatar all four elements. He needs to master these four elements before the comet arrives and to also go head to head with FIRE LORD OZAI. Haha I know this doesn't sound like me, but I'm a geekish kid at heart. Here's a little intro on how the story goes about.



I've started watching this series on Nickelodeon but ended watching on OKTO haha... Long story... If you guys wanna watch it, they're having re-runs on OKTO on weekdays at 7.30pm. Gotta watch it. But the question is, among all the cartoons I watch, why am I talking about this? Simple, because the movie is about to make its debut in cinemas. I'm so psyched about it. Here's an actual teaser of the movie.

Who Was Your Favourite?

Now I'm sure everyone had a favourite artiste/band growing up. As a the last of the 80's Babies, I listened to all sorts of music. But my all time favourite even till this day, I would say is "NO DOUBT". No Doubt is a band from the US with the SKA-Punk kinda genre influence. What Am I Gonna say... Hmm...

Damn these past few days has been surprising to say the least... Things pop here & there... Well, it's over & done with. Moving on, I got my NS things ready!!! hahaha... I know thats random but I had to get that out of my system. Man I'm aching all over after that night jog with Marzuqi two nights back. I need me some koyok. Nothing much today, just wanted to say a few things. Wow the clock is counting down fast. Oh yeah, tomorrow fasting begins. I wish all muslims a safe fasting. Selamat Berpuasa. Somebody call me please. I'm very bored. I don't wanna go out just a phone call... That'll be all for today... Short & Lame today.... =)... Catch you guys on the flip side!

Hey!

Yesterday was a tiring but a fun day. Went to Bugis & then Paragon with Mar to get some things. Walked around like mad, our legs were beginning to hurt and Marzuqi's leg was half pass gone haha... He had only little sleep cause he was on night shift the day before so understand-understood lah ah... So Mar bought a bag which he's been wanting to get for ages. I'm actually happy that he got what he wanted. So then at Paragon we bought some stuff for our prawning later that evening.

It was night at this point and we met up with Jason who happens to be another secondary school classmate of mine number of years known similar to Marzuqi. So we set for Jurong Hill. Sat down for abit, looked at the crowd fishing, and people were barely catching any prawns haha... I mean no pun intended, the faces were like so confident like as if they'll catch 40-50 prawns using a chicken heart bait. When the clock struck 12midnight, Mar & I went to get our rods, and the fun began. Not too long, we got prawns like mad. We reeled in many big sized prawns. Fat ones even. After an hour or so my sis came with my bro-in-law. They fished too.

After all that, we began our BBQ. We caught 30prawns in total. Didn't manage to eat them all. I was actually happy to fish for em, but eating? haha.. Cannot already lah... I'm done with prawning for now hahaha... Maybe 7-8months time I'll do it again but not anytime soon hahah...

My thoughts on NS...

Haha I didn't even notice I only had 31 days left to my NS enlistment. Actually its kind of a mixed feelings lah. I'm not scared, neither am I too eager to get in. Haha... Its just that its a 2-year process that every male Singaporean has to go through. And to me that's just fine. I'm excited to actually venture out into different parts of my life.(most like real statement) Marzuqi's been telling me stories alot lately regarding his experience in the police force. Sylvia my other bestie went into camp this past Wednesday. I hope she's doing well. It'll be my turn soon. I know I'll survive, though its gonna be freakishly tough not to mention tiring, I'm fine with it. Just that I'll miss my family & friends coz I'll be either in camp or resting. Not much time for them. Yes many say SPF is very relaxed, but that doesn't mean there isnt much work involved in it. You risk your life for the safety of civillians.

Anyways, I gotta start preparing my physical fitness for my training soon. I'm eating like a monster these days. Especially today. By god, I just recovered from, (gasp for air) FEVER, FLU, COUGH, VOMITTING & THE MOST ANNOYING ONE, NON STOP DIARRHEA. So I lost my appetite recently and today I got back my loss. Haha...I wanna spend more time with my friends. I'm gonna be packed with activities with them soon. So anyone wanna go out with me while I'm still free? Feel free to tell me. I'll try my best to meet you up. I'm going off now. I wanna go watch tv or something haha. Catch you guys on the flip side!

Sunday's Whacked Out Picnic Haha...

Alright on Sunday, we went to Changi Beach for a picnic. It was me, Marzuqi, Marlina (I have to make this part clear abit coz both are "MARS") Hariz, Hajar, Sly, Syarfa & her sis's, who's name I didnt catch at all. Zura couldn't make it coz earlier that morning her dad had a fall in the toilet. So he was admitted & she had to accompany him. No worries, we just pray that he gets well soon aite...?

So firstly we pitched tent, started talking nonsense as usual. Marzuqi just came back from his night shift, so he went straight for the tent and slept like a log haha.. Then we prepared ourselves for some food. But what would food be without drinks? Our dear Ms Sylvia Antonie Nitsche came like 4hours late! haha.. We were buying drinks from the vending machine. Mr Hariz then came up with the idea of prank calling people overseas haha... He started the ball rolling. Freaking hilarious. Ofcourse I had to dig my hands into the fun. My prank went like this

Me: Selamat Soreh, siapa di sana? (Good day, who's there?)

Caller: Donny
Me: Donny?

Donny: Iya
Me: Donny?

Donny: Iya

Me: Mas Donny?

Donny: Iya

Me: Kamu tinggal nya di mana? (Where are u staying?)

Donny: Bandung (That being in Indonesia for some of you who don't know)

Me: Saya tinggal di Coca Cola Hahaha.... (I live in coca cola)

(hung up)

It was so random of me to say such a lame but somewhat funny thing.. haha... Everyone laughed hard. Gosh so much fun just on that note. After 2 plus, Syarfa & her sis left coz Syarfa had to work. Few minutes later Sly reached walking sideways with drinks at hand.

About 2hours had passed, Hariz out of the blue dared me & Sly to walk around a group of drunk malaysian indians who were prancing & dancing like a bunch of mad people.. So yah, we did it. Thank god they didn't chase us for circling them.

We took some pictures. Ate summore, drank loads of coke & teas. Pretty much a good day for me & the rest. I don't wanna to be too detailed about some other things that actually happened earlier on. We "SAW" some things we didn't wanna see.. Haha.. Things end here... I need some more sleep.. I'm getting lazier these days. Even my post sounds dull... Till next time!
