Happy 21st Birthday To Me

This past Monday as some of you may know, was my 21st birthday... Hehe... I had to book in on that very same morning cause of the PCG training... I was feeling bored and moodless the whole day cause I it was my birthday and I had to be away from my family... Sacrifices had to be made... I wasn't expecting any gifts... But this was a shocker for me... When the night hit, I was merely hanging around with the regulars of my squad... I went back to my bunk but I couldn't open the door cause it was locked... So I thought the boys were changing or they needed to do something important.. A surprise didn't came to mind one bit...

And then, lighted candles came from one corner while I was sitting in dark... The squad bought me a cake... I was really shocked... I thought no one remembered... You can the expression on the pic above... The cake was really delicious and I really appreciated it so much.. My first ever surprise...

Thanks again MPC 7... From the bottom of my heart.... (=

Back to business... The following morning, we headed off to CDA for our firefighting course... It was an awesome but tiring two days cause there were lots of physical activities involved... We learned many things from the instructors... And on top of that, we were awarded certs... Squad photo at CDA above...

That'll be all for now... We had a long week ahead... Gotta rest up for next week... Cheerios to you guys... I'm a year older, a Year wiser...

Hey There...

Its been a while since I last blogged... Well I'm busy with so many things that I didn't realise I turn 21 tomorrow... Lemme get on the first agenda here today...

The guy next to me in the pic is Khai. He lost his mom this morning. I never really found out the cause of it. All I have to say is that Im really sorry for his loss. This guy was one of the funniest guys in the squad He was jovial and very lovable. Its really sad to hear him losing someone he loves so much. I mean a mother. Someone we look up to, someone we go to "FIRST" when ever we have any problems. Ones we run to when we need strenght and love. Im sure your mom's looking down on you Khai, proud and happy that she has a strong son. I can't imagine how much pain your in bro. It really is unfair but she's in a better place with god. She's safe up in the high heavens. NS 49 will be there for you when you need us. Name it, we'll be there for you. Remember that Ns 49 is more than friends, we're family.

Readers of my blog, please recite the "Al-Fatiha" for her soul. (=

Lets talk about my attachment on Friday. It was my first one, I was attached to Lim Chu Kang base. So basically there's a briefing on which boat we were being assigned to. I was with Whiskey 3. There was the Crew Commander, and 2 senior Special Constables. I was the newbie hahaha... I had to do the GUNNERY module. I learnt alot from the crew comm. He even taught me how to Steer the boat, which I had fun learning. Very informative. I think I might actually like this line..

Tomorrow I'm going back to BRANI BASE. I got my new uniform btw hahaha.. will upload it soon... I think I'm done for now... Theres a new song on my blog called Love letter By Kevin Rudolf... Have a listen... Its an awesome song... For now, I'm off to pack my things... Take care and au revoir!

Happy Birthday To Me Tomorrow!

Meet MPC Squad 07// NS 49 BBQ

These people above ladies & gentlemen are my new squad mates. Now for those wondering, MPC stands for Maritime Policing Course. So basically I've been posted to Pulau Brani base to further my Coast Guard Training. Its been a fruitful 2 weeks. Actually like every first time thing I did from the past till now, I'm gonna start hating things but then get comfortable with my surroundings and go with the flow... I have about 8 more weeks left before my course ends so I guess I better make the most of it.

I have 4 ladies in my squad. I would describe them more as Roses Among the torns rather than the other way around. I can't complain about the accommodation and food cause everything at brani base is done perfectly. The food is delicious, the beds are comfortable to sleep in. The OC squads are caring and really look into details about us if we have any doubts or problems. This past week we also did uniform sizing. I can't wait to dawn on the new man in blue uniform hahaha... Number 3 is cool and all but hey, time for a change! Wee!
Moving On...
Last Saturday was my former squad, NS 49's BBQ which was well organised by Mr Zul Asyraf & Fazil... The food was awesome... Delicious... And yet the best thing wasn't the food, it was being able to meet my fatboys once again... I had craved to meet them.... We're glued and then we split into different directions... Sad affair I know but this is life... One thing's for sure, we will remember each other for sure... (=

This is me & Yan Yan... The squad timer, one of the jokers, and my bunk08 dance partner hahahhaha....

Me Amigos and me...
This right here is my FI. Ahmad Feroudeen Hidayat Aka Deen... Someone alot of people call garang but to us his like a big brother.. Always there when we need him...

That'll be all folks... Till I blog again soon... Hehehe... You guys have a good weekend ahead right? And please don't get into trouble! Says the new fully pledged police officer! haha..

Yours Truly
