Phuket, Thailand

Last week, I went to Phuket Thailand for a 4 days 3 nights holiday with 3 of my buddies. It was also the first time I was in a flight. First flight experience was awesome! haaaa! We were on a Tiger-airways flight and the air stewards & stewardess were all friendly & super nice. As usual I have to whip out my camera and take pictures hahaha... So as the pictures roll down, I'll tell you stories... (Scroll down!)

Zai & I queuing up for our flight tickets and from afar Sly snap a good shot of us hahaha...
Sly & me bored of waiting at the entry to the plane. Gate 4 was such a bore trust me...
And so we took flight, high above the clouds & beautiful blue sky..
Sawadee-Kaa Phuket Thailand, We're Here!!!!We wasted no time, so it was recce time! We walked along this place called Bangla Street, yes you read right, Bangla Street hahaha.... Literally... The night lights sure made our eyes glittery. Off for our first dinner in Thailand... Indian food! This vintage phone booth caught my eye the moment we got off the transport. haha..The following day, we got ready for our water activities which we were all psyched about. Fresh faces out of bed! LOL... Especially mine... Da
This is the speedboat that took us from Patong Area to the Phi Phi Islands which Leonardo DiCaprio acted in the movie "The Beach".
Snorkeling was one of the highlights of that day. The only snorkeling I did in the past was in the swimming pool. I never thought that one day I'd be able to actually do it hahah.. The clear blue water, the colourful fishes, the calm coral reef.. It was so relaxing. I got stung by small jellyfishes, TWICE! hahaha... But its all good...
Via feeding the naughty monkeys that kept coming back for Bananas... Now I know why monkeys are known to be cheeky! hahaha Normal lah, go anywhere, making friends with people is a must when it comes to us, even if it means making friends in another country... KIMCHEE! Btw, they're Koreans. These BBQ gigantic corns were in Khai Island... I tell you I've not tasted anything like this before. Juicy, fresh & cheap! LOL1You would think we'd be tired & exhausted after a full day event like that? No, the night just began.... We went swimming at our resort's pool. No one but us controlling that pool. Felt so care free & just great. This picture below shows how boys will always be boys Hehe..All fun with no food is a No-No. Food in Phuket were amazingly nice. No complains just splendid.

If you come to Thailand & you don't taste the authentic taste of Tom Yum, then its not worth coming hehe... I tell you this Tom Yum Goong is tremendous. The owner made friends with us. I feel like BBQ all of a sudden.... (=
Activities continued the later days, we went Glow in the Dark bowling which was a first for all of us infact. Something different indeed. Everything was dark, the music played was great. Dancing & bowling the evening away....Then we went simulating shooting. Don't worry the gun I'm holding isn't real. Its a laser guy, basically a toy! Cool stuff actually. You just shoot the laser pointer at the Game screens they have, and you score points. The winner gets their face printed out and exhibited in their mini gallery. Cool...Night life in Phuket is an all system go kinda thing. Thais here I believe are nocturnal. There were things you would never see in Singapore. I'm glad I'm in Singapore. Much more peaceful. All good things have to come to an end, our final shot before flying back to our stomping grounds. A group photo with what people might call "corny" I say whatever kinda tees hahaha.. Phuket was truly fun, it was filled with Sun, sand & beach. Good friends, great activities. Felt like not going back for a sec, but come to think of it, home is the best place still. Thank you Phuket Thailand for having us. We'll come back for sure someday. There you go ladies & gentlemen of the flipside, this concludes my trip to Thailand. You guys should, many of my friends are going there. Next stop hopefully, BALI! Till the next blog post, take care & I will catch you on the flipside! Au Revoir.

Smiles From Zubir-O
Sawadee Kaa!
